ABOUT ABOUT

Tall Trees is proud to present a round robin night of music with John Seay, Jane Beatty Doug Alan Wilcox and special guests.

John Seay performs songs that make people think, laugh, cry, smile and remember. Based in Baltimore, he has a well-earned reputation as a songwriter's songwriter, and delivers funny, insightful, user-friendly songs with wry, understated heartfeltitude. Or words to that effect. Plus fancy finger pickin

Jane Beatty loves making music with her friends-whether it's the boys of Bald Mountain, long-time friend, John Seay, where they met in the Baltimore Songwriters Association or a fellow road buddy, Doug Alan Wilcox from her solo traveling days, Jane will gladly jump in and share a tune! She is happy to be a part of this month's Tall Trees show and hopes you will enjoy it as much as she will!

Over the course of his career, Maryland native Doug Alan Wilcox has traveled a road from solo acoustic artist through numerous electric bands of various stripes and back again, performing along the way at some of the country’s more notable venues as well as countless small cafes and concert spaces. Through the years he's honored to have shared a bill with acoustic luminaries
Pierce Pettis, Stacey Earle, L.J. Booth, Peter Mayer, and many more. The sound is a communal stew of bluesy folk, and rustic acoustic soul. The message speaks straight to the human condition. Exercising talents that stretch beyond the realm of solo act, as a sideman, Doug's work on hand drums, harmonica and harmony vocals has supported numerous world-class performing singer/songwriters. Intimate, thought-provoking and on occasion, wryly humorous, Wilcox delivers music that will stick in your head - as well as your heart.
